Revar Cine Split Diopters are standard 82mm diopters featuring a precision-polished half-glass design that allows simultaneous focus on both near and distant subjects within the same frame. Split Diopters create a distinctive optical separation, with one portion of the image remaining sharply in focus through the diopter while the rest of the frame maintains natural focus through the uncovered lens. This effect enables dramatic foreground-to-background storytelling directly in-camera. The most popular strengths are +1 and +2, offering a strong, clearly defined split focus effect. For more subtle transitions and greater flexibility, +0.25 and +0.50 provide a gentler focus shift while preserving a more natural look.
